MeT issues detailed weather update for Kashmir, here’s everything you need to know

On 29th July, the weather across Jammu Kashmir is expected to be generally cloudy, with intermittent spells of light to moderate rain or thundershowers.

This pattern will affect many areas of the Kashmir Division and most places in the Jammu Division.

From 30th to 31st July, the weather will remain generally cloudy, with intermittent light to moderate rain or thundershowers occurring at many locations in the Kashmir Division and widespread areas of the Jammu Division.

Between 1st and 7th August, the forecast indicates continued general cloudiness, with spells of intermittent light to moderate rain or thundershowers expected at many places in the Kashmir Division and most places in the Jammu Division.

There is a possibility of intense showers in brief periods, which could lead to flash floods, cloud bursts, landslides, mudslides, and shooting stones in vulnerable areas of Jammu and Kashmir, the MeT has said.

Heavy rainfall is also possible at a few locations in the Jammu Division.
