A man lost his life in a tragic road accident in the Chasma area of Ramban district on Wednesday.
According to officials, the accident occurred when a Swift car lost control near Battery Chashma and plunged into a deep gorge. A rescue operation was immediately launched to search for any survivors.
During the operation, one body was recovered and later identified as Amit Koul, a resident of Barhmana, Jammu.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
