HSSC Constable Recruitment 2024: 5,600 Vacancies Announced – Registration Begins September 10

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has announced a recruitment drive for 5,600 constable vacancies. The official notification was released on August 15, 2024, and interested candidates can apply from September 10 to September 24, 2024, via the official HSSC website, hssc.gov.in.

Key Details:

• Application Period: September 10 to September 24, 2024.
• Eligibility: Only candidates who have qualified in the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Group C posts can apply.
• Application Fee: There is no fee required for this application.

Vacancy Breakdown:

• Category 1: Male Constable (General Duty) – 4,000 Vacancies
• Category 2: Female Constable (General Duty) – 600 Vacancies
• Category 3: Male Constable (India Reserve Battalions) – 1,000 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification:
  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 (10+2) from a recognized board.
  • They must also have completed the Matric (Class 10) examination with Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject.
• Age Limit:
  • Candidates must be between 18-25 years old as of September 1, 2024.
  • Age relaxation will be provided for reserved category candidates as per government norms.

Selection Process:

1. Merit in CET: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the CET.
2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Selected candidates will undergo a PMT.
3. Physical Screening Test (PST): Those who pass the PMT will move on to the PST.
4. Knowledge Test: Candidates will take a written test with objective-type, multiple-choice questions, which will account for 94.5% of the selection weightage.
   • Minimum Passing Marks:
     • General Category: 50%
     • Reserved Categories: 40%
