The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has announced the recruitment of 1130 Constables (Fire)/Firemen for the year 2024. Vacancies and Eligibility Criteria
- Total Vacancies: 1130 Constables (Fire)/Firemen.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 to 23 years old as of September 30, 2024. They should have been born between October 1, 2001, and September 30, 2006. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 12th grade with a Science subject by September 30, 2024.
Application Fees
- General, OBC, and EWS Categories: ₹100
- SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen: Exempt from the fee.

Selection Process
The selection process includes several stages:
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates must complete a 5-kilometer run within 24 minutes.
- Physical Standards Test (PST):
- Height: 170 cm
- Chest: 80-85 cm (relaxable for candidates from hilly areas as per rules)
- Document Verification: Verification of documents to check eligibility.
- Written Examination: An OMR/Computer-Based Test to assess knowledge and general awareness.
- Medical Examination: Final medical check to ensure physical fitness for the role.
Note: Candidates must score at least 35% in the Written Examination/CBT for UR/EWS/Ex-SM categories and 33% for SC/ST/OBC categories to qualify for the next stage.
