SSC CGL Result 2024 For Over 17,000 Vacancies To Be Announced
The SSC is carrying out a recruitment campaign to fill more than 17,727 positions across different ministries and departments of the Government of India.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to release the results for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 exam soon. Candidates will be able to view their scores on the official website, ssc.gov.in, by entering their roll numbers from their admit cards. While the exact release date and time haven’t been announced yet, the results are expected imminently.
The Tier 1 SSC CGL exam was conducted from September 9 to September 26, and provisional answer keys were made available on October 4, allowing candidates to submit objections until October 8.

Passing Criteria for SSC CGL Result 2024
- Unreserved category: 30% minimum score
- OBC and EWS categories: 25% minimum score
- All other categories: 20% minimum score
Candidates who meet the criteria will qualify for a variety of Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ roles across government ministries, constitutional bodies, statutory authorities, and tribunals.
SSC CGL Exam Pattern and Scoring
The Tier 1 exam comprised objective multiple-choice questions in four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Incorrect answers carry a penalty of 0.5 marks.

The monthly salary for Group B roles ranges from Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400, depending on the position.
